The gap personnel group are acting as an Employment Agency.

You will lead the Charity in building and maintaining relationships with the NHS Trusts, and monitoring the contracts between them and the Charity. Monitoring performance and ensuring that the Charity’s Mobile Cancer Care Unit (MCCU) is fully utilised and ensure the fleet and maintenance of units is well managed and in line with current legislation. Main Duties: • To Manage the Operations team on a day-to-day basis • To build and maintain strong beneficial relationships with NHS stakeholders • To find and work with new NHS trusts and project manage the relationship from concept to delivery of an MCCU • To prepare and monitor contracts, and oversee some procurement processes • To regularly meet and maintain contact with key stakeholders in each Trust • To encourage maximum utilisation of the MCCU’s over the NHS sites • To collect data on the use of MCCU’s and provide quality reports to Senior Management and Trustees • To monitor improvement plans where necessary and assist NHS Trusts in achieving good performance • To collect best practice ideas and share these with stakeholders • To support arrange the annual Partnership day and evaluate information collected at this event to improve services • To work with the Operations Co-ordinator in ensuring requests made by NHS partners on MCCU Unit enhancements or problems are dealt with effectively • To horizon scan topics that may impact the Charity and keep abreast of potential changes • To support the charity in other duties as necessary Skills, Knowledge, Experience • Excellent communication and negotiation skills. A natural ability to convey complex information to a wide variety of people with various levels of understanding both in writing and verbally is essential • Strong contract management skills and experience, together with the ability to monitor improvement plans • Line management skills • The ability to learn quickly and retain a wide base of information • Ability to analyse data and prepare reports • Strong presentation skills • Ability to work well under pressure whilst maintaining attention to detail is key to this role, as is a strong team working ethic • Able to work on own initiative, yet motivate team members leading by example • Must be pro-active, confident and able to prioritise • Experience in working within the NHS and understanding of Chemotherapy treatments would be an advantage, but not necessary • A high degree of professionalism with the ability to handle potentially sensitive and confidential matters • Good attention to detail and keeping quality records on the Charity’s database or within the filing system • A good level of IT knowledge including Microsoft Office, the Internet, and the ability to learn new systems quickly Work Location • Based either in Tetbury, Gloucestershire. This will be the base office location but the postholder will need to travel nationally as a part of this role. • The duties of the post will require some weekend and evening working hours as part of this role • As the role requires frequent travel, a valid driving licence is essential • Use of one of the company pool cars Current IT systems used at the Charity (experience desirable/essential as indicated): Microsoft Office (essential) Raisers Edge – data base (desirable)
